The 2 models are part of the new Red Edition Collection, fronted by the J12 X-Ray Red. Featuring a crystal sapphire case, the latter stays the same shape as the original watch launched in 2020, but the latest model is given a red tone for fresh contrast. Rubies highlight the J12 X Ray Red’s uniqueness and sophistication. Seen through the transparent case is the same movement, Caliber 3, that drove the earlier version of the timepiece but, thanks to the sapphire crystal, minus the bridges of the cogwheels. Similarly for the sapphire encased Boy.Friend Skeleton X-Ray Red, which first appeared in 2018. The watch is also powered by Caliber 3. J12 X-Ray is limited to 12 pieces. Price: US$626,000 (S$863,880). Boy.Friend Skeleton X-Ray Red is limited to 100 pieces. Price: S$129,900.
