IT'S THE RUN-UP to the 2019 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve (GPHG), and as the judging panel gears up to pick the winners in 14 categories from the 150 watch models eligible for the contest, another Singaporean is joining their ranks.
Su Jia Xian - watch collector and founder of the website SJX, will join Michael Tay, The Hour Glass co-group managing director, and Suzanne Wong, editor-in-chief of Swiss watch magazine WorldTempus, in the panel with 27 other watch journalists, collectors and experts from around the world.
The final selection will be made in Geneva in November and the winners, including the best overall timepiece, will be announced at a grand ceremony in the Swiss city.
