IN 1987, CHANEL CREATED THE Première – its first watch.

How fortuitous that this year-end, the French luxury maison is marking 35 years of watchmaking with the Première Édition Originale watch. The re-release brings this star of a timepiece back in all its iconic glory – a black lacquer dial in a case that flaunts the octagonal shape of its famous N°5 perfume bottle stopper, with the interlaced leather and chain strap of Chanel’s signature quilted bag for its bracelet.

Perfect.

Of course, the star and comet were Mademoiselle Chanel’s preferred sources of inspiration and they continue to sparkle this festive season, in the form of glittering rings and necklaces.

There are also irresistible gift-giving options from its Coco Crush fine jewellery line, which puts a dazzling, hand-polished version of the maison’s emblematic quilted motif on rings and bracelets.

It is, quite appropriately, a star-studded Christmas at Chanel.
