Moritz Grossmann Central Second
WHILE Moritz Grossmann may be new to Singapore, he's known by some in Germany as the "uncrowned king of Glashutte", the city that's the cradle of German watchmaking. But Grossmann, who died in 1855, had no successor and his name was only revived in 2008 by Christine Hutter, a watchmaker and entrepreneur. "No machine can ever accomplish the precision and artisanship of true hand craftsmanship," says Hutter, who is the brand's CEO.
