SWISS luxury watch brand Tudor is celebrating the year-end festive season in a big way, with plans to do a countdown for Christmas and the New Year on Orchard Road - probably a first for the watch industry in Singapore.
Touted as "Christmas on a Great Street 2021", the celebration is a huge project that also involved planting festive glass panels along Orchard Road, projecting displays and animation on a giant screen on the outer facade of Mandarin Orchard Hotel and enlisting local singer and songwriter Yung Raj to lend his voice to the occasion.
Christmas on a Great Street 2021 is aimed to spread festive cheer "as the nation welcomes the new normal", says Tudor, which is the project's frontman and its official timekeeper.
