Hublot brings the World Cup experience to Singapore at pop-up exhibition
WORLD Cup fans fret not that you’re in Singapore and not Qatar because Hublot brings the spirit of the tournament to its pop-up exhibition at VivoCity.
The Swiss luxury watch brand is no stranger to the game – it is the first high end timepiece brand to enter the world of football through partnerships with Federations, competitions, players past and present, head coaches and referees.
True to the spirit of the game and to reinforce Hublot’s status as the official timekeeper of the Fifa World Cup 2022 for the fourth consecutive edition running, the pop-up space for the aptly named Hublot Loves Football exhibition is shaped like a pentagon – similar to one of the 12 panels found on a regular football.
There are several football-themed areas where visitors can relive the experience of attending a ‘live’ soccer match.
These include a game where participants get to test their aim and power of their kicks; as well as a photo opportunity to take a snapshot beside the electronic football substitution board that the fourth officials are using at the World Cup games.
There is also a space dedicated to 14 one-of-a-kind football designs for the new ‘Hublot Loves Football’ campaign. Lebanese fashion designer Mira Mikati created them for icons such as Brazilian legend Pelé, French striker Kylian Mbappé, American striker Alex Morgan and English national team manager Gareth Southgate.
