BT readers immersed themselves in the world of the Lange 1, one of the world’s most iconic timepieces
THE iconic Lange 1 watch celebrated its 30th birthday recently with an exhibition held at Orchard Ion.
BT Club invited 30 readers to the event, 30 Years of the Lange 1, on Oct 27 where they were hosted by A Lange & Sohne for a special closed-door session.
As guests stepped into the exhibition space, they were immediately transported into a world of exquisite craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
The centerpiece of the exhibition was a curated collection of Lange 1 models, each a masterpiece of horological artistry.
From the original Lange 1 with its distinctive off-centre dial to the more recent iterations such as the Lange 1 Tourbillon and the Lange 1 Zeitwerk, the exhibition showcased the breadth and depth of the collection.
A master craftsman from A Lange & Sohne’s manufacture in Saxony was also present to demonstrate engraving and show first-hand the intricate details that go into the making of each Lange timepiece.
As a special treat, the readers also got the opportunity to get hands-on with four limited edition Lange 1 timepieces that were unveiled to mark the occasion.
To commemorate this event, each attendee took home a specially curated gift bag filled with premiums from A Lange & Sohne and BT Club.
