Timeless elegance meets innovation
Longines introduces a range of new models that blend heritage with modern technology
Flagship Heritage 2024
THE 2024 Flagship Heritage models from Longines are a tribute to the brand’s rich history, combining mid-century elegance with modern watchmaking mastery. As Longines celebrates this iconic line, the new collection introduces three distinct dial colours – Havana beige, anthracite, and green – each evoking a sense of timeless sophistication. These dials, adorned with applied hour markers plated in rhodium or rose gold, pay homage to the original Flagship design from 1957.
The 38.5 mm stainless steel case is powered by the exclusive Longines L899.5 Calibre, a self-winding mechanical movement featuring a silicon balance-spring for enhanced precision and durability. The movement is magnetism-resistant, exceeding the ISO 764 standard tenfold, and offers an impressive 72-hour power reserve. At 6 o’clock, the moonphase complication shines against the sunray dials, perfectly matching the gold or rhodium accents on the watch.
On the back, the collection’s signature 18-karat gold medallion, depicting a caravel sailing across a vivid blue sea, is hand-painted in Grand Feu enamel. This emblematic feature not only honours Longines’ maritime heritage, but also showcases the brand’s commitment to artisanal craftsmanship.
Comfort is ensured with elegant alligator leather straps in complementary colours (brown, anthracite, or black) each featuring a Heritage tongue buckle. With water resistance up to 30 metres, the Flagship Heritage collection merges traditional design with cutting-edge watchmaking innovations, appealing to those who value both aesthetics and performance in their timepieces.
