    Cartier Mini watches

Stylish, delicate and refined, mini timepieces hold a special place in Cartier’s watchmaking repertoire. They are also very much in sync with the current trend for small watches.

From the design to the quartz movement, every one of these petite models is miniaturised, rethought and adjusted to the exact millimetre to achieve the ideal balance. More than cute, these pint-sized creations reflect Cartier’s creative play with shape and proportion.

The downsized watches are now a big family that counts the brand’s classic Tank Louis Cartier, the Tank Americaine, the Baignoire, and the Panthere de Cartier, as well as a small Tortue model from 1922, on a tiny scale. While similar in size, each timepiece is also different in its own way.

The mini Panthere de Cartier has a bracelet in a flowing form that is supple on the skin – it evokes the movement of its namesake animal.

Meanwhile, the petite Tank Louis Cartier inherited the refined horizontal lines, stretched case and gentle contours of the original. It has its timeless elegance and all its aesthetic codes: Roman numerals, blue hands and a winding mechanism decorated with a sapphire cabochon.

A quintessential jewellery timepiece, the oval-shaped Baignoire on a smaller scale comes in new versions: diamond and yellow gold on a leather strap, or an all-gold bangle model.

Longines Master Collection Moonphase (Ref L2.409.4.87.2)

If you can’t give the moon to a loved one, give a Moonphase watch instead. Located at six o’clock, the moon-phase indicator on this elegant stainless steel model is ringed with Arabic numerals and a hand indicating the current day. Fitting such a complication into a 34-mm case is a big challenge, but it meets the demands of female buyers who look for both elegance and technical features.

The model lives up to Longines’ strengths in combining tradition with innovation. This watch from the Master Collection is powered by an exclusive Longines self-winding mechanical movement with a silicon balance-spring, which gives greater accuracy, stability and performance.

The femininity of the Moonphase is further enhanced by a white mother-of-pearl dial with diamond hour-markers and a vibrant red leather strap.

Panerai Luminor Due Metal Bracelet PAM01539

The PAM01539 flaunts a burgundy sun-brushed dial with a “soleil” (French for “sun”) finish that subtly lightens towards the centre. In contrast to the striking colour, the hour markers and hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova that glows in the dark. Framing the dial is a polished 42-mm-wide stainless steel case and bezel.

As its name suggests, the watch is worn with a new metal bracelet with a progressive “V-shape” design that tapers from the case to the buckle, offering enhanced comfort and a lighter feel for everyday wear.

The bracelet is decorated with a combination of different finishes – brushed on the larger links and polished on the edge and central links – which produce a three-dimensional effect when light hits the bracelet at certain angles.
