JOE TAN believes doing good goes beyond just reaching for your wallet; it's about extending a helping hand and giving back to society.
To that end, the ex-army regular took the leap to become a social entrepreneur himself after 11 years in the service.
But it was also his time in the military which inspired him to embark on this new career path. After witnessing first hand the hardships of those living in a war torn country like Afghanistan, the humbling experience taught him to count his blessings and not take anything for granted.
