When President Tony Tan turns broker

    PRESIDENT Tony Tan Keng Yam turned broker on Wednesday and closed four trades worth over S$520 million, helping to generate commissions for charity.

    He spoke with customers to close deals and helped boost trading volumes during the day at the Singapore office of ICAP plc, a leading markets operator and provider of post- trade risk mitigation and information services.
