CELEBRATION 90, a wine-charity gala dinner and auction, followed by three sessions of wine-tastings, raised S$1.25 million last weekend in aid of the St Andrew's Autism Home, breaking its previous record.
The event, which took place from Jan 6-8 at Capella Singapore, was organised by internationally-respected wine connoisseurs Dr NK Yong and his wife Melina to mark Dr Yong's 90th birth year.
Before this gala, the couple had organised Celebration 80 and 85, and, in 2014, the La Paulee de Singapour, a Burgundy-themed event which raised S$1 million.
