THERE are just nine days to go before we say goodbye to 2018 and ring in the new year, and sports fans around the world will look back fondly on another action-packed year that has produced more than its fair share of memorable moments.
Once again, it was not easy to narrow this list down to just six events, but these were the ones - in no particular order - that stood out for me in the always unpredictable world of sports.
