THEY'RE at it again. Yo-Yo Ma, the cellist, reunited with his some time musical collaborator Condoleezza Rice, the pianist who is better known as a Stanford professor and a former secretary of state, at the Kennedy Center Arts Summit on Saturday for a lyrical performance of Schumann's Fantasiestücke, Op 73.
Ms Rice then sat on a panel with Mr Ma and other luminaries, including Nobel-winning neurobiologist Eric Kandel, astrophysicist Angela Olinto and entrepreneur Paul Stebbins, to discuss "Shared Values and Social Goals in Cultural Disciplines" - a panel that emphasised, over and over, the importance of risk-taking.
