WORKING in the fast-paced finance sector, regular exercise is a stress buster for me. Yoga is my main workout, but I enjoy variety and a holistic approach in my routine. I build my regime around yoga, personal training at the gym and pole dancing, which I picked up last year.
My weekly schedule comprises four sessions of intermediate to advanced level yoga practice lasting 60 to 90 minutes each. Two of these focus on strength and flexibility while the other two sessions focus on the core. I also train with my personal trainer once a week for muscle building and cardio health.
I now practise pole dancing as well, twice a week. This brings variety and fun into my routine, but more importantly, I want to challenge myself to learn something completely new that requires physicality, technique and coordination.
