CONGRESSWOMAN Tulsi Gabbard, 38, who has represented Hawaii in the US House of Representatives since 2012, and Andrew Yang, 44, a corporate lawyer and high-tech entrepreneur, are probably not going to be picked by the Democrats as their presidential nominee next year, and therefore have zero chances of occupying the White House anytime soon.
In fact, these two Asian American public figures have yet to emerge as frontrunners in the Democratic presidential race, but seem to be gaining more support and attention.
Hence according to the most recent Economist-YouGov poll, Mr Yang was in sixth place with 3per cent support among those planning to vote in the 2020 Democratic primaries and caucuses.
