Better to tread with care on dual-class shares

NEARLY two years have passed since the "one share, one vote" restriction in Singapore's Companies Act was removed to pave the way for dual-class shares in Singapore listed companies under certain conditions.
Yet, a dual-class share structure, which gives certain shareholders greater voting power and rights, are still not admitted on the exchange, and there is still no clarity on how they will be accommodated.
