Biden made the right decision on Afghanistan
The withdrawal has been chaotic and images heart-wrenching, but the US cannot and should not protect and advance the security interests of the Afghan people for them.
WHENEVER married couples get divorced, there is always a hope that the process would be orderly, and that the wife and husband, soon to be "exes", would part amicably, that they would be gracious to each other. Right!
Well, sometimes these neat and tidy divorces do take place; that of Melinda and Bill Gates comes to mind. But more often than not, "divorce" and "tidy" are two words that do not go together.
Instead, most husbands and wives, notwithstanding their pretence, do not part on "good terms". A lot of people, especially their children, get hurt. And the only ones who are left with a smile on their faces are the divorce lawyers.
