    CANCER. It kills about one in three people in Singapore. If we add the number of cancer survivors, the odds of contracting cancer are very much higher.

    So how should we respond to The Emperor of All Maladies (also the title of a book by Indian-born American physician and oncologist Siddhartha Mukherjee, which won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for fiction).
