Gender equality in workforce gets a leg up from digital innovation

WOMEN in Asia have come a long way.

In the tech sector alone are women who have inspired us and changed the way we live. We can thank the women in accelerator programmes and those running social entrepreneur platforms for new products continuously rolled out across the region.

We can thank Lim Qing Ru, who paid herself a meagre S$410 a month for two years in order to build Zopim and allow us to easily chat real-time with e-commerce sites.
