WHEN world leaders gather in one country for an international summit, as many have done in China and Laos over the past week, their schedules are usually packed with plenary sessions and official lunches and dinners.
Behind closed doors, they discuss their views and positions on all sorts of pressing issues - the state of the global economy, climate change, terrorism, human trafficking, dealing with the Zika virus, and much more.
Very often, however, there is just as much that goes on behind the scenes at these high-level pow-wows too.
