Going beyond 'the triple bottomline' for sustainability
The pattern for local, national and global development strategies used to be anchored by the three Ps - People, Profit and Planet. Today, they aren't enough anymore.

SINGAPORE continues to be celebrated as a leader in sustainability in Asia and across the globe, and looking around, it is not difficult to see why.
According to the Asia Sustainable Cities Index 2018 by Arcadis, Singapore is ranked as the most sustainable city in Asia, and ranked fourth globally. The city state is also one of the greenest cities in the region, with its sprawling city parks, tropical nature reserves and aspirations to become the world's greenest city.
The Singapore government is committed to achieving a balanced "triple bottom line" when it comes to sustainability - that is, working towards a vision of Singapore which is socially, environmentally and economically sustainable.
