    CONSIDERING the headlines that followed the release of this year's Quality of Living rankings by consulting firm Mercer, one could be excused for thinking a Singaporean like myself would pack her bags and leave Hong Kong for the comfort of the Little Red Dot.

    "Housing and pollution issues lead to Hong Kong trailing Singapore in quality-of-life rankings" warned one South China Morning Post article.
