I STILL remember when, in order to create a website, I had to engage the services of a dedicated and experienced website designer who had learnt one of many coding languages. There are templates that you can base your website on, easy to use drag-and-drop features that allow those of us with limited or no coding or design experience to create a great-looking product. For smaller companies and startups, this has been invaluable, significantly reducing cost and time.
