WATCHING the elderly lady and the old geezer clashing fiercely as the two seniors lobby harsh verbal assaults against each other with supporters urging them to fight until the bitter end, one hoped that the blood pressure of 68-year-old Hillary Clinton and that of 74-year-old Bernie Sanders wouldn't zoom up to the stratosphere.
"Hey, take it easy, guys," would probably be the appropriate reaction from a non-partisan observer watching the fifth (but the first one-on-one) debate between the two remaining Democratic presidential contenders that took place in Durham, New Hampshire, last Thursday. "Is winning the Democratic presidential nomination so important, that you would be willing to risk a heart attack or a stroke?"
