IF you had invested just US$5 in bitcoins seven years ago, you could be sitting on a gold mine of US$4 million today. While it used to be worth only a quarter of a cent, one bitcoin is now valued at close to US$2,664. ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) have seen over US$1 billion raised this year, all from investors who were given a token and a somewhat vague promise of involvement in a new industry or business. But I bet many of us wish we had parted with five bucks back then.
