Teheran will not cave to Trump's dealmaking
US President Trump has to ditch his Art of The Deal playbook to get on Iran's good side
AS HE was about to finish his latest letter to his buddy in Pyongyang, US President Donald Trump told himself that he now had enough material to write the second volume of his earlier bestseller, The Art of the Deal.
Unlike the first volume, that explained how the Donald had made so much money through his business deals (without mentioning that he asked his brothers and sisters to save him from bankruptcy), The Art of the Deal II would highlight the unparalleled triumphs of the current White House occupant as a diplomatic negotiator and could serve as a guide to future statesmen.
The first chapter of the book would focus on the way President Trump succeeded in averting a war between the United States and North Korea - perhaps even a global nuclear confrontation - and set a stage for the conclusion of a historic deal over the future of the Korean Peninsula.
