    WHAT happens when a leader behaves unethically?

    The follower's perception of the leader's trustworthiness suffers and future interactions between them becomes strained.

    Yet, consider these striking examples: Enron, Worldcom, Tyco and, closer to home, City Harvest Church. The leaders of these organisations would not have been able to carry out their shady ventures on such a grand scale and for as long as they did without the daily support from their employees.
