Yes President Trump, it's also about Pittsburgh

"I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris," President Donald Trump declared at the end of last Thursday's address, when he announced that he was pulling the United States out of the historic agreement that was signed by 195 nations in the French capital in 2015.

"The Paris Agreement handicaps the United States economy in order to win praise from the very foreign capitals and global activists that have long sought to gain wealth at our country's expense," Mr Trump insisted. "They don't put America first. I do, and I always will."

Indeed, the White House's decision to withdraw from the accord, under which the signatories pledged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, was hailed by economic nationalists as a demonstration of Mr Trump's willingness to stand up to the "globalist elites" who were plotting to destroy American steel and mining industries and the jobs that workers in Pittsburgh depend on.
