MICHAEL Dell, chairman and chief executive officer of Dell Technologies, sees a glass as half-full instead of half-empty. In the context of the current virus-wracked global situation, while he is deeply saddened by the devastation and loss of lives, he is optimistic about the post-pandemic future.
Speaking to this writer over a video call from his home in Austin, Texas, Mr Dell talks about the worst days last year when Covid-19 vaccines were not yet in the market.
"I woke up every day and thought about what is the best thing I can do at that particular moment to help. You know, help our company and, quite frankly, help the world in this situation.
