    CHATGPT, which turns two this week, has continued upsetting apple carts – with the latest one belonging to doctors.

    A study found that the artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot on its own soundly beat human doctors at diagnosing illnesses based on case reports, with an average accuracy rate of 90 per cent, The New York Times reported earlier this month.

    Adding doctors to the AI mix actually produced an inferior outcome, with a score of 76 per cent, while doctors without ChatGPT did marginally worse, scoring 74 per cent.
