OVER the last year, immersive technologies (such as the concept of the “metaverse” – a vision of immersive and interactive digital spaces and experiences) have garnered much interest across the region.

Attention has been focused on their benefits and use cases, as well as privacy risks and potential regulatory solutions.

While this interest has waned over the last few months, it is expected to heat up once more following recent new product launches, such as Apple’s Vision Pro and the upcoming Meta Quest 3.
