A robot for every Singaporean
AN INCREASING number of Singaporeans are discovering the wide application of software robots, and how it can make them more relevant to a highly automated workforce of the future.
Robotic process automation (RPA) is helping a range of strategically important sectors in Singapore, such as logistics, financial services, and e-commerce, to become more efficient - especially after Covid-19.
However, up until recently, there were few training courses available for locals looking to upskill themselves for the digital era. Many who have succeeded had to pick up RPA skills on their own, trawling through online forums and studying training manuals.
