But the danger is the power of the pragmatic political centre that searches for compromises could be eroded
IF you have been browsing in the last two weeks through liberal online sites, including those managed by Democratic Party activists, you would have had no choice but to conclude that the political career of former vice-president Joe Biden was, like, you know, totally over.
According to opinion polls, the 76-year-old political veteran who had served for several decades in Congress remained on the top of the list of Democratic voters' choice to become their party's 2020 presidential candidate.
