Flipping the script on business infrastructure with 5G

THE debate surrounding the launch of the world's first 5G network underpins the battle to emerge as a leader in a rapidly expanding multi-billion dollar industry. Beyond global recognition and national pride, being the first to commercially implement 5G cements a country's forward-looking position in paving the way towards advancements of the future.

On the flip side, when it comes to the incorporation of 5G networks into existent business models, being first is not enough to stand out from the competition. The right infrastructure and architecture can prevent organisations from simply building a house of cards.

Singapore's place in the race is not far off. The government has announced it plans to roll out 5G networks by 2020 to "maintain Singapore's competitive edge in connectivity".
