Fung Choi Media can be saved

FUNG Choi Media Group's delayed annual general meeting (AGM) last week left shareholders wondering whether they should just write off their investment. Problems are piling up.

Besides its main Hong Kong subsidiary (that owns all the operating companies in China) being in receivership, its lady chief executive officer (CEO) is now in trouble over alleged unreported interested party transactions.

Her passport has been impounded in China, which meant she could not attend last week's AGM. The executive chairman (the CEO's husband) was also missing for no good reason.
