IT IS hard not to panic during times of distress. As Covid-19 cases continually inch up, there is a palpable feeling of unease.
That's why it was important that this year's Budget was an assuring one.
While the government is dealing head-on with the immediate repercussions of this contagious virus with an S$800 million package, what's actually more telling is that the Covid-19 package only played a supporting role.
