SGX website suffers from information gaps

SINGAPORE Exchange (SGX) proudly announced a revamp of its website some months back, giving the impression that something better was being provided to customers. What has actually happened is that it is now much harder or impossible to find information about a single company from its Web page. News, dividend history, dividend calendar and documentation about the original prospectus used to be available, but is now suppressed.

For those of us who invest, rather than speculate, the missing information is critical to making decisions about what to buy. I need the announcements to understand what is going on, and I need the dividend history and calendar to look at income flow.

I have contacted SGX on a number of occasions about this matter - only to be put off with the boilerplate response, "the relevant department has been informed". This means, of course, that no one is going to do anything.
