Singapore users putting businesses at risk of cyberattacks
THE Singapore government recently announced that public servants will be cut off from the Internet from May next year, in an extraordinary move to tighten security. Affecting some 100,000 computers in government agencies, ministries and statutory boards, this decision was made so as to reduce and prevent potential leaks from work email and shared documents amid heightened security threats from outside sources.
