Survivor 2015: the GOP reality game show

WOULD you like to run for the US presidency? Well, there are three minimum constitutional requirements to fulfil. First, you have to be a born US citizen, which means that someone can be born abroad (say, in Kenya), but both parents must be citizens of the United States. Then you have to be at least 35 years of age. And you have been living in the US for at least 14 years.

So you meet all these three requirements, and then you ask yourself: "But, hey, am I really smart enough to become the president of the most powerful country in the world?" You may worry that you don't have enough supporters except for your crazy uncle (even your parents won't vote for you). You also heard you need to raise a lot of money in order to run for a political office in the US. And you've never addressed an audience larger than your high-school class and certainly didn't appear on television. Run for the presidency? Ha.

Hold it there. You may not be as crazy as you think you are. After all, you have always been quite ambitious. You've also been the ultimate optimist; you buy lotto tickets every week, hoping that you'll win the Big Prize. And when you see that sexy Hollywood actress on the big screen, you probably tell yourself: "She would probably date me, if I asked her out."
