    The Business Times (BT) subscribers will get first dibs on an upcoming BT Property Outlook 2023 seminar.

    Pre-sale for the event – Opportunities Amidst Volatility – starts on Wednesday (Jan 4) and will cost just S$15 per head. The promo code for the discount has been emailed to all subscribers.

    The public can also buy tickets at S$40 but those who opt to sign up for a BT subscription will immediately get to enjoy the discounted price as well with a unique promo code. More details on that offer will be emailed to BT registered users soon.

    The price includes entry to the half-day seminar, as well as light refreshments in the morning and a buffet lunch.

    Opportunities Amidst Volatility will take place on Feb 18 from 9.45 am to 1 pm (registration begins at 9 am) at Raffles City Convention Centre.

    The event will feature a panel discussion moderated by BT’s senior property correspondent Leslie Yee, who pens his weekly column The Level Ground and hosts the PropertyBT podcast.

    The panel will comprise Propnex’s chief executive Ismail Gafoor; Edmund Tie & Company’s (SEA) chief executive Desmond Sim; and Qian Wenlan, a professor of finance and real estate, and Ng Teng Fong chair professor in real estate at NUS Business School.

    On the agenda are topics such as where to find relative value in the residential market (prime or suburban, new or resale, landed or condo); comparing opportunities in residential versus other segments (office, retail, industrial, etc); how megatrends including government policy and interest rates will impact Singapore property prices; and more.

    Participants will also get a chance to engage the panel during a Q&A session after the discussion should they need any advice.
