Developers' sales surge 57% month-on-month to 613 private homes in March: URA
DEVELOPERS sold 613 private homes in March this year, up 57 per cent from the 390 units they moved in February this year.
The latest March sales figure is also 28 per cent more than the 480 units sold in the same month last year.
These figures exclude executive condos (ECs), which are a public-private housing hybrid.
The above figures, which are based on developers' monthly housing sales data submissions to Urban Redevelopment Authority, were released on Wednesday by URA.
Based on the URA data, 155 units were sold at the Kingsford Waterbay project in Upper Serangoon View last month at a median price of S$1,111 per square foot. At Sims Urban Oasis, 107 units were sold at S$1,401 psf median price in March 2015.
URA's numbers showed that inclusive of ECs, developers found buyers for 692 units last month, higher than the 455 units in February this year as well as the 535 units for March last year.
