THINGS may have generally quietened on the property investment sales front with the year-end holiday season, but there are still some mid-sized deals taking place.

Far East Organization is understood to be selling a ramp-up logistics warehouse building in Tuas for S$120.6 million to a Singapore unit of Hong Kong-based Intex Development Company. Intex distributes airbeds, above-ground pools, air furniture, sporting goods, floats and toys, says its website.

    Geylang draw

Over in Geylang Road, an entity linked to Lawrence Leow’s Crescendas Group is buying six adjoining freehold shophouses from a company controlled by the family of the late property and hotel magnate Wee Thiam Siew for S$42.55 million.
