He builds 'land megayachts' for the super rich
Bruce Makowsky's 9-figure Bel Air 'curated' home comes with cars, art works, wine, 7,000 movies and staff
New York
STANDING in front of his 30m glass tile infinity pool overlooking Los Angeles, Bruce Makowsky unveils the centrepiece of the most expensive new home for sale in the United States.
"You ready for the best view?" he asks. A staff member touches an iPad, and a 6m 4K-resolution television mounted on a spiral hydraulic lift rises from the edge of the pool. Even in the bright California sunshine, the vivid image of Beyoncé in concert appears on the screen above the pool, her music booming from 16 underground speakers.
