TROUBLED Chinese real estate giant Evergrande will have until January to put together a restructuring plan, a Hong Kong court ruled on Monday, extending a deadline previously set for December.
High Court judge Linda Chan adjourned the case to Jan 29 and said Evergrande’s lawyer should seek “more direct discussion with relevant authorities to confirm” the restructuring proposal would be “doable”. AFP
