JLL is welcoming Knight Frank's Tan Boon Leong and Ng Ee Kiat to its logistics and industrial team with immediate effect, the real estate services firm announced on Tuesday.

The pair will take on newly created roles focused on serving leasing and capital market clients, JLL said.

Mr Tan, Knight Frank's former executive director and head of industrial services, joins JLL as its executive director of logistics and industrial in Singapore. The company hopes to leverage his 29 years of experience, which includes the sale of a 470,000 square feet (sq ft) freehold land plot and a 1.8 million sq ft JTC land plot.

Mr Ng, who was a part of Knight Frank's industrial services team, will be senior director of logistics and industrial at JLL Singapore.

The two were previously also senior staff at Colliers before they - along with two others - resigned to join Knight Frank in January 2016. Mr Tan and Mr Ng will report to Tom Woolhouse, head of logistics and industrial for the Asia-Pacific at JLL.

Mr Woolhouse said: "Bringing together expertise in urban logistics and supply chain consulting with our brokerage teams will enable us to give clients more comprehensive advice to support them with future-proofing their logistics strategy. Welcoming Boon Leong and Ee Kiat reinforces the importance we are placing on this segment in Singapore."
