[SINGAPORE] Just five months after launching room rental site Homie.co, serial entrepreneur Darius Cheung is back with his newest start-up 99.co - an apartment rental site, and also Homie's sister site and parent company.
99.co, which lists entire apartments in Singapore for rent (not just rooms, like on Homie.co), has secured $700,000 in seed funding from various venture capital (VC) firms, including 500 Start-ups, East Ventures, Fenox VC and Golden Gate Ventures.
According to Mr Cheung, this was inspired by his desire to reform the local property search market, which he claims has great potential for disruption.
