M'sia to allow developers to offer loans

PUTRAJAYA plans to open the door for qualified developers to provide home loans to buyers amid a stricter lending climate which has hurt property sales.
Property players say the measure could help developers sell more stock in the short term but do not expect a significant impact given that home builders lack access to quantum funds.
