New Zealand building consents rise in November

[WELLINGTON] The number of new dwelling consents approved in New Zealand rose by a seasonally adjusted 1.8 per cent in November compared with a 5.4 per cent rise in the previous month, official data showed on Monday.
Excluding apartments, flats, and retirement village units, the number of consents for new houses fell 0.3 per cent, after a 0.3 per cent fall in the previous month.
Building consents were 17 per cent higher than the same month a year ago and were at a 10-year high.
