Propnex CEO Ismail Gafoor says his philosophy is not to worship money or be blinded by it for it can ruin your core values

    FROM delivering newspapers as a boy to becoming the CEO of Singapore's largest real estate company, it has been an eventful 49 years for Ismail Gafoor.

    The Singapore-born Indian had no choice but to help his father, a Tamil from Kudavasal, near Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu, who came to Singapore penniless in 1945 at the age of 17 and ventured into various small businesses, including distributing newspapers.
